LIFE IN AUSTRALIA

There are pleny of ways for you to explore Brisbane. Queensland has great public transport networks including buses, trains, trams and ferries. Riding a bike is a great way to get around Brisbane. It’s very convenient and inexpensive. If you are going to drive in Queensland, you can apply for a Queensland drivers licence in Australia or you can bring an English translated international driver’s licence. In Australia, all international students must have health insurance for duration of their studies.

If you’re sick and it’s not emergency situation, generally, you are going to visit a GP (General Practitioner) at medial centre. It would be good to search a GP in your area in advance.

If you need help for your mental health, you can speak to a GP who can refer you to mental healthcare professionals.
